Providing Free Laundry Services for 200 Low-Income Families

Updated: May 4, 2020

Last weekend, I partnered with Don Roberto’s Laundromat in Panorama City to help 200 low-income families during this pandemic with free laundry service. We pre-selected these families with the help of our community partners and non-profit service providers, including North Valley Caring Services, tag) Casa Esperanza, and LAPD Mission Division Senior Lead Officers who serve as community liaisons.

I want to thank Robert Donovan, owner of the laundromat, for joining us in this effort to assist families already stretched thin. The need is great during this pandemic, so it’s amazing to see such strong support for our communities from so many people, businesses, and organizations.
