Sixth District Partners with L.A. Venues on Human Trafficking Awareness Day

On Human Trafficking Awareness Day, my office turned City Hall blue to raise awareness about human trafficking in L.A. and show support for victims. We also took the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Blue Campaign citywide, partnering with venues across to turn their buildings blue.

Nearly a dozen community members joined our effort, including LAX, US Bank, Van Nuys City Hall, Caltrans District 7, the L.A. Department of Water and Power, the Wilshire Grand Center, Union Station, Grand Park and the Music Center, and the Courtyard Marriott at L.A. Live.

Thank you to all of our partners for joining me in taking a stand against human trafficking.
