"Dressember": L.A.-based campaign to end sex trafficking recognized at City Hall

Today, I recognized Dressember and its founder, Blythe Hill. Dressember is a L.A.-based, international campaign to abolish sex trafficking.

Dressember fights with fashion, reclaiming the dress as a symbol of strength. To raise awareness, participants wear a dress every day for the month of December. In just a few years, Blythe has raised more than $3 million to help victims of sex trafficking. Today, I thanked her for her advocacy, and for joining my quest to end sexual slavery once and for all.
